Go Camping in Style with a Trailer Tent

While campers and RV’s are often the item of choice for those who like to travel and camp out, trailer tents and their cousin, the folding tent, are gaining in use and popularity. While trailer tents and folding tents naturally are not as luxurious as many camper are nowadays, they do have their own unique advantages, the most obvious ones being that they are way cheaper to buy and way cheaper to maintain than campers and RV’s are.

You can find a number of good brands of trailer tents on the market today - Cabano, Sunncamp, and Trigano are pretty good brands, and there are others too. You can get either a small, medium sized or large trailer tent, depending on how many people you will be camping in it.

If you are looking to buy a cheap trailer tent, then checking the internet might be a good idea. You can find a number of sites that sell second hand trailer tents, which naturally cost a fair bit less than buying a new one would. The only disadvantage in this is that you are likely to get less of a selection; if you try to order one at peak camping seasons you could easily find that they are out of stock.

If you want something that is a bit fancier and grander than the trailer tent, then you can consider a folding tent. Like trailer tents, they come in small and large sizes and different medium sizes in between. However, the larger size folding tents offer drainage, sinks, electricity, heaters, and other useful amenities.

It goes without saying, however, that what you get will likely depend on how often you plan to actually go camping, how big or small your family is, how much of a budget you have to spend, as well as your particular likes and tastes. You should always check around a fair bit to make sure you are getting the best deal for the best price, before you buy either a trailer tent or folding camper.

One final thing on trailer tents and folding tents is that they are not anywhere near as hard to put up as most traditional tents are. Naturally, since there are different brands and different types of trailer tents and folding tents you would not set them up all the same way, but generally speaking, they are quite easy for anyone to set up and not only that, but they are made from stronger material than traditional tents (look for one that says it is made from Ten Cate). You do not have to worry about leaks if it rains with a trailer tent.

Outdoor Camping - Large Tents To Accommodate Everybody

Going camping is lot of fun for the whole family and is a great way for kids to get out there and do something different while the adults get time to sit back and relax.

Though some love to have travel campers when they go on trips a lot, a few are only casually interested in camping, and they like to purchase family tents for their time away. These are good, but there are several things to keep in mind if you buy them.

The best family camping tents are ones that will fit every person with a lot of space left over. Although a few would say that there is nothing comfortable about a tent, having enough space for everyone is essential for a good trip. If every person is overcrowded within the tent, they aren’t going to like the trip very much.

There are many sizes in the ‘family tent’ category, all the way from three-person tents to huge circus-type tents that can fit up to 12 people. The idea is to pick one which has room enough to accommodate a family of five (on average there are 4 members per family), so that everyone has enough room to move about and stretch out a little.

Most quality tents (even the small ones) have walls that can be zipped up to provide more privacy. Although these are great for changing attires, nothing beats the multiple roomed tents where the kids may have rooms of their very own without disturbing their parents.

For larger family tents like the twelve-person tent, the addition of multiple rooms means that 2 families may go on a trip together. They also allow people to go in and out of the tent without interrupting the sleep of others.

Although these large tents can be quite expensive compared to the smaller tents, they more than make up for the cost if a you intend to take your family and friends for a camping expedition that will last several days. Having more space will result in everyone having a much better time out.

Good family tents moreover have sufficient aeration and are water proof as well. Getting something too little and of lower quality will only make every person on the trip glum and they will be less likely to wish to repeat the experience.

Great Vacation Ideas For Winter

Most people definitely have a lot of brilliant ideas for things to do on summer vacations. But it seems that with vacations during winter, families are not as creative. But that is definitely a shame simply because there are a lot of wonderful things that you can actually do in the winter as a family. Most of these things will surely go well especially if you have an RV available that you can use to travel places.

Well, the first thing which a family can actually do is to go camping in the snow. Normally it would be a bad idea to set up a tent and go camping in the snow. But if you were to take an RV with you to the snow it opens up a lot of possibilities. You can eventually decide to go to many campgrounds and then save a lot of money when you don’t have to rent a place to stay. This is a very popular option for clients of my San Diego RV rentals service.

Plus if you were to go to some nice snow spots with a trailer, it definitely gives you plenty of exciting and practical options. In other words, you really don’t have to get stuck at one part of a mountain or ski resort to really enjoy these things. You could possibly move around and see the many parts of that resort. This is something my customers of my Campland on the Bay RV rentals business tell me they do all the time.

Another thing you can do in the winter with an RV is go on a cross country trip. You could definitely do this in the summer of course. But if you happen to take one to different parts of the country, it could really be a wonderful experience. So you could travel to a different climate than where you actually live in order for you to have a change of scenery.

Finally you could even chose to go fishing. Fishing is one of those activities that never gets old. It does not actually matter if it is a winter or summer season, you are sure to have a really great time. With an RV, it definitely makes it even more fun and convenient. So you could absolutely turn it into a weekend of fishing rather than having just a day of fishing.

So there are actually some great ideas in order for you to consider if you plan on taking a winter vacation. It is very sure to provide you and your family many wonderful and great moments together.
