Why Are Camping Eggs Always SO Delicious

You wake up in the morning and climb from your tent. You’re starving! So you stoke up the fire and crack a bunch of eggs then pour them into the cast iron pan. Throw in a dash of milk and scramble them right in the pan, then stick it on the fire (or, hopefully, on one of those stand up grates or something similar the campground has provided)

They take forever to cook, but boy are the delicious! Best eggs you’ll ever eat.

Now, they don’t taste as good when you just cook them over the coleman stove - so you stovers don’t know what you are missing! They have to be cooked over the open fire. Delish!
